Prepare for your trip to Bali

Apply for your train ticket

Once you have decided to take this program, apply for your train ticket as soon as possible. The sooner you can get here, the better.

The further away from home you go, the more money it costs in terms of transportation.

This training is very close to home (only an hour’s flight), so there are many ways to get here.

However, being at home needs effort and expense – including airfare, which will be considerably more than what we spend on transportation while here in Bali.

By having all members of the school community work together to make that happen, we hope to enable people to come and enjoy a year’s worth of yoga lessons for the cost of a single flight.

For example, let’s say you want to fly from the US to Indonesia for one month.

You would probably pay about $1000 backpacking once you get here. But perhaps you could cut that down to something closer to the budget by flying into Malaysia and getting onto bikes to visit all the temples around Bangkok.

(We recommend you bring your own bike).

But really, everything is much less expensive if you can run up things rather than paying cash. I’ve also noted that visas are easier to obtain with credit card.
